getting back on topic of the game... our pitching has been phenomenal in this tourney! ross was pretty good in the loss to vandy (4 runs is NOT bad at all,) ranaudo, coleman, bradshaw, cain... really, i mean, that's FIVE great starts from five different guys. could you ask for more? on top of that, ott is about as clutch as can be. if these guys continue to pitch this way, teams had better watch out. now if only we could be a little more consistent at the plate. this team is really shaping up to look like it has the depth for a serious run in OMAHA!
Jim is not perfect, but he has passion and excitement in his voice. The rest of the crew is straight up BORING..zzzzzzzzz. I also like his honesty when things go south..."Oh my, I can't believe he did that!"
Ive grown to love when he does that...it makes me laugh...most of the time. Those bottom of the 9th, down by 2 or 3 can be quite depressing when he does the "way back" gimmick. But other than that....its part of listening to LSU baseball on the radio :thumb:
Seems as though the announcers are not aware the mikes are on - - - apparently one of them is not returning to the SEC broadcast booth after this game ...
