Not sure on exactly what happened but interest was not really sparked by either side. He never came in for camps/visits and I am sure he was invited to a camp or 2. If I had to guess he wanted to get away for college and LSU took the hint. I am sure we tried to gauge his interest at different points this year and maybe we do so again but it looks like LSU feels better about Brandon Jackson who I think is just as good as Ivan. Could be a grades thing as well because I didn't see him get much interest from the SEC either but I have not heard anything about his grades. I know it is easier to qualify for the Big12 though.
Interesting..... They say Ole Miss is in the picture now. But he is the #7 player in Louisiana just found it odd we didnt even recruit him. I am sure there is a reason as you explained. Just curious Thanks !
