    I would like for someone to explain how he will have 3yrs to play for us i have never seen a juco play more than two did he get a medical redshirt in juco....

    I believe it is 3 years to play 2. He did not use a redshirt year.

    That's right. It's 3 to play 2. Any idea if we plan to redshirt him this year?

    Not sure but if I was him I would. It would give him another year separation with Shaw.

    :geaux: Sounds like Shaw is coming along pretty well in his development. Is the staff looking at him as Black's replacement at Left tackle in '10? If so, maybe this guy would be Barksdale's backup maybe. In any case, good pickup for CLM. :LSU231:

    Scout is ranking JUCOs this week and Hardrick got 4*.

    That along with the Bates commit moved us up to #4 on the Scout Team Rankings today slightly behind UF and Bama. Texas is way out front.

    I don't know. I think the average star rating is more indicative of the quality of the class than the point system. However, as long as LSU is somewhere near the Top 10 every year, we're gettin' GREAT recruiting.

    I agree, rankings are pretty useless either way this early, if ever.

    I was just looking around Scout's JC rankings, and if I am reading it correctly, Jemarcus Hardrick is the #7 JC player in America at the moment & the #2 ranked OT. Sounds like he's going to be a really great player! He may just grab a 5th Star, not that it really matters. I just didn't realize he was that high up there. Thought I'd pass the list along.
