Here are the results from the 1st round using Scout's rankings. If someone comes across the Rivals rankings post them here.

    1. Bradford -- 4 stars
    2. Suh -- 4
    3. McCoy -- 5
    4. Trent Williams -- 3
    5. Berry -- 5
    6. Okung -- 4
    7. Haden -- 4
    8. McClain -- 4
    9. Spiller -- 5
    10. Alualu -- 3
    11. Anthony Davis -- 5
    12. Matthews -- 2
    13. Graham -- 5
    14. Thomas -- 4
    15. Pierre Paul -- 5 JUCO (NR in HS)
    16. Morgan -- 4
    17. Lupati -- 2
    18. Pouncey -- 4
    19. Weatherspoon -- 2
    20. Jackson -- 3
    21. Gresham -- 4
    22. Thomas -- 3
    23. Buluga -- 4
    24. Dez Bryant -- 4
    25. Tebow -- 5
    26. Dan Williams -- 3
    27. McCourty -- 2
    28. Odrick -- 4
    29. Wilson -- 2
    30. Best -- 4
    31. Highes -- 2
    32. Robinson -- 4

    7 5star = 22%
    14 4star = 44%
    5 3star = 16%
    6 2star = 19%

Looks like Scout did a pretty good job if you use this as an indicator but there are many other variables. 66% were 4* or higher. There are going to be more 4*s given there are more prospects ranked 4 and 3 stars compared to 5*s.

Also shows how arbitrary rankings are given almost 35% were 3* or less.

Always enlightening to look at that distribution. What will also be interesting is how many 5* drop into rounds 2-7, because the rating on them was wrong, or maybe they had already developed all they were going to, or their press clippings went to their head and they just didn't develop, or a 3* developed a little later and outworked them, or the 5* got in trouble (RP)... A whole lot happens between 18 and 22.

If you consider this a viable option to compare Scout did slightly better at identifying top prospects and Scout did slightly better at the bottom end. Pretty much a draw but Scout had the % edge.

However, these rankings are just to rank players based on future contributions to college football not the NFL.
