    Besides Maclin's affinity for LSU, Chavis must have had a lot to do with this early commitment given his TN connection and legacy of churning out top LBs.

    Well having Chavis helped, and will help with other Lb prospects in the future, but this was a case of Larry Porter and his many connections.

    god our linebackers will be amazing in upcoming years. Think about it. Minter in middle Maclin on the outside and Mingo on the other :crystal:

    Baker is gonna be a good one as well. And I think LSU stands a good chance at pulling another 4-star OLB in this class.

    Jury is still way out, but LB is suddenly looking solid...
