We really have been getting some good LB's trickling in lately...but don't forget DJ Welter. After a redshirt year and some good coaching and conditioning, this kid should start too. If he develops real soon, he could precipitate an eventual move by Mingo to DE.

I think by the time he signs his LOI, he will be a 5* prospect, not that it matters much, but the guy has tremendous upside.

now only if we could pull off the steal of the year and somehow get jeff luc we would really be awesome at LB

I'll take Nelson or Lewis just as readily as I'd take Luc

Maclin is a big get for us, especially when it looked like he was leaning to Bama at one point. Our LB recruiting has started to improve, and I hope that trend continues.

    Take that LSU.
Rivals takes Maclin out of the top 250.
    Let the speculation begin!

According to Rivals, he dropped in the rankings because while overall he looked good at USC's camp & in his videos, he looks stiff.

And he didnt look stiff when he was in the top 250? I guess I dont understand the evaluation as much as I thought I did.

Definitely one of the more lame excuses I have heard from rivals.
