Kelvin sheppard is getting blocked every run and does not seem like he is fighting through it.

 

Honestly, I think its the YOUTH on our D biting. Sheppard is staying at home but getting blocked.

On that last TD, Sheppard was the only one who played the QB but was blocked by the guard.

 

Does the 'Battle of the Boot' and 'Iron Bowl' rotate every few years because I always thought the game was played on the Friday after Turkey Day!! It's no big deal but just curious because I can't recall since the 'Boot' game has been played!!

 

Disappointed in D's play.

I'm glad that some folks are not disappointed in the Defense today.

My guess is that the majority of LSU fans are disappointed in the LSU D's play today so far.

 

I am, but when I look back on this D along with the year and I consider the youth, it makes sense to have a 1-2 down games.

In no way to I consider the AU game on the D as our O went 3 and out about 90% of the second half that game.

Though, the running QB gives us fits....Just assignment football at its best......

 

Too many big plays, too many missed assignments.

But again, it's all correctable, and as long as we have more points than the other team, I'm not that disappointed. I wasn't expecting Ole Miss to completely lie down like they did last week, were you?

 

No though I am expecting a big 2nd half from the Tigers to redeem themselves from last year!!
