I feel the same way. Lee can move this team faster down the field. I would've used him instead of JJ.
Real difference: we gave them the ball on the 16 and 17 yd line. I am not 100% sure, but didn't Jefferson move the ball 17yds on the turnover drive? Let's not be too critical
In a 2-min drill, you go with the guy who can move the ball down the field and stop the clock. Running with only 1 TO is just more clock mismanagement. Nothing has been fixed. Its Vu Ja De.
Okay...so he was handed the ball near the goal line, ran a busted play, and scored. He should be brought in occasionally like Perilloux...NOT as a starter or routine player.
How many yards did the DB run after the INT? We not only gave up points but may have cost points for our team. Plain & simple...he's just not very good.
if we just handle our business we can win this game. this would be huge for our guys. huge for our coaches. And be a big confidence boost for our team. Lee needs to be our starter and have jj for an offbalance guy. I really believe lee has earned to start and have them both play. Plus i think it would take some of the pressure off jj and he could just play and not have the weight on him.
