Looks like the only thing that will keep him off the field as a freshman is if he doesnt bulk up over the summer which I think he will.

He will be fun to watch.

He's definitely one of (if not the) best WRs there.

I guess Barton Simmons is eating his words about Hunter right about now considering hes evaluating their side. He dominated practice again today and won offensive MVP.

Yesterday he said Hunter looked pretty good but Mike Davis looked better...but couldn't give a fair evaluation because he was looking at the other team..

I bet hes picking his jaw up off the ground right now.

Supposedly he went against Milliner and some hotshot safety for a jumpball in the endzone and made it look easy. Said it was the play of the day.

Needless to say his stock is rising as we all knew it should.

Garder...threw the best pass of the day, a 40-yard touchdown to Justin Hunter. The throw had plenty of air under it and fell right over the shoulder of Hunter. It was easily the best throw of the day

Shame Garder couldn't do that in the actual game, he had Hunter wide-open behind the defense... and he overthrew him.

Dec. 31 article ranking the Postseason Top 30 Players in Virginia

6-4, 180-pound Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach) wide receiver Justin Hunter is third on the list. Hunter, who has committed to LSU but has taken visits to Florida and Tennessee as well, is a big-time athlete who stars in the long jump and high jump events in track. A big-play receiver who averaged almost 17 yards per catch in his senior season, Hunter has tremendous upside on the college level.

To me, Sims, Ferguson and Hunter are clearly the top three prospects in the state this year. I consider these prospects to be closer to 5-star than 4-star recruits, though I have them ranked as 4-star.
