Re: New Commit: WR Mike Davis I have not read anything to that effect and admittedly I don't know much about the Dallas recruits but it is certainly possible. And if he is anything like Shep was, than I imagine he will know him soon enough. I would love it if it helps us with Seastrunk, but I am thinking more long term through this year and the next. We are already on Seastrunk's radar, but may not be with other kids. We have a pretty established foothold in Houston, but there are a ton of alums here too. And the I-10 corridor, etc. Dallas has just never been a place we could poach. And of course, it is big time OU country also. I just see all sorts of upside to this recruit. And oh yeah, his film looks really good too. :thumb:

Re: New Commit: WR Mike Davis "The area" you speak of is 135 miles between the two high schools. No Davis does not know Seastrunk. Seastrunk is pretty open about what particular recruits he is friends with from all over and Davis is not one of them.
Re: 2010 WR Mike Davis COMMITS! I'm excited about getting Davis, mainly because of his offer sheet. I also like the fact that his name is Mike and not DeAngelo. Hopefully his academics are in order and we can keep this guy.
