LSU is in the driver's seat for tis CB out of SC. He is coming in for the 1st camp in June to meet everyone, etc... Also expected to play on special teams as a return man. Cover corner with speed to burn. Nice hips and change of direction as well.

    5'11
    180
    4.37

Offers from LSU and Nebraska and he expects Bama to offer soon but that won't change LSU's spot according to him.

I'm guessing this has something to do with Ron Cooper's reputation in SC? I'm good with that!

He ran a 4.37 at the Shrine Bowl Combine.

    Just wanted to update...

I think this guy will have his stock steadily raise. Just like Mathieu did last year. Seems to be getting interest from some major programs. Kinda weird SC hasn't offered yet though.

From what I have gather many SC fans are wondering the same thing and it is not just Martin they are wondering about. Not sure what they are doing just as Martin mentioned in his last update.

Ronnie Martin is still down to LSU and South Carolina. Hard for me to picture him going against the home team for LSU who all of a sudden got crowded in the secondary but I don't think LSU could turn down his speed at the CB position.

Decision should be coming soon. Here are his quotes after his USC visit.

Agree with the bolded part. Part of me says "how many CBs are we gonna take?", and another part believes some of them aren't going to stay CBs.

    Ronnie Martin is a Safety

Collins could play either but I see him at CB

Jenkins could do both as well but he is the best CB out of the bunch

Then you have Turner as a wildcard but I think he will start off at WR when arrives on campus.

If Martin comes on I would say Collins is the next in line at Safety and we are done with recruiting DBs. Couldn't see us offering Raven if that is the case unless they see potential at OLB which is unlikely.
