    ParadiseiNC don't worry, be happy

Yeah, he's got potential and everything, but he has already had back surgery for a herniated disk, and then ruptured an ACL. For a guy just starting a professional career in a collision sport where reinjury is very likely, that does not bode well. Two high risk areas that he has already injured to the point of requiring surgical correction. I would hold out hope, but not hold my breath.

Well, Barksdale was drafted in the 3rd round. Not an UDFA like you suspected.

I'm happy for him. :thumb: I like Barksdale as a person. Great guy.

I think Detroit had a really nice draft, anyone else think they could pull out the NFC North in the next couple of years? If Matt Stafford can stay healthy that is.

I think they can. It's kind of like the Rays in MLB. You build up alot of excellent draft picks when you suck for awhile.

If they can overcome the gris gris like the Saint's had to do.

what's remarkable is that they wanted to trade their first, second and fourth round picks to the Cardinals so that they could get Patrick Peterson, which would have meant they would have missed out on Nick Fairley, Titus Young and Mikel Leshoure (they used their 4th Round pick to trade up for Leshoure)
