Oh well, I like the guy we have, he wanted a offer from us and got it and accepted it almost on the spot. Thats the kind of kind of kid I want here.
He hasn't committed to Alabama yet. Show some optimism. He's supposed to announce tomorrow, (technically today), and Alabama just decided to offer? If he holds off his decision, I would consider them a player. But if he commits somewhere tomorrow, (again, today), I doubt it will be to Bama.
So Bama comes out of no where a few days ago and offers and now Ely who has been being recruited hard by all these other schools for an extended period of time will just commit to Bama? I find this hard to believe, if it was Florida or Notre Dame I would understand b/c they are schools who grew up a fan of and who pass the ball alot. Bama had 34 passing yard in the National Championship last year! Unless Bama has been secretly recruiting this kid for a while I can't see him just up and committing to them a few days after they offer.
