Welcome Zach, congrats on being a Tiger.

And congrats to Coach Miles, he once again beat out a lot of stiff competition.

A Question - does this change anyone's mind who said "No top QB is coming to LSU as long as LM and GC are running the offense"?

No my friend, there is a time and a place for everything, and a thread congratulating and welcoming our new recruit is not the place to continue to biotch about GC. I acknowledge that GC is an issue, and have made it known that I think much like many LSU fans do regarding his replacement. Given that fact, trying to insult me is misplaced. Again, if you think calling me a fan boy is an insult your couldn't be furthest from the truth. To be a fan boy of a great program like LSU is an honor. One that you are not privy to because you don't have what it takes to be an LSU Tiger, just an internet troll.

No, he can't even make the trip. But he can practice with the team in Baton Rouge.

I am so happy about this I could burst!

Potentially, this could be the most important signing in LSU football since Faulk's commitment.

LSU won ten games (so far) in 2010 with the worst QB play in the SEC. The Tigers lost two close games on the road where one more score would have made the difference. Heck, even a few less three-and-outs might have made the difference.

Zach Mettenberger could be all that's needed to put LSU back into the BCS title game.
