Why did Kenny drop in the rankings?

I have a question about Hilliard maybe some of you can comment on. I don't have first hand evidence or anything, but it seems being the star running back for four years has worn a little on Hilliard. I know he played hurt for most of his senior season.

What I am thinking is the kid is just tired and beaten down, and maybe a redshirt year could get him back to top form? I know he has a ton of talent, and probably can still play right now without a year off, but do you think he will redshirt? I think he should, especially with all of the young talent we already have in the stables. I think trying to get him on the field his true freshman year could stunt his growth.

Anyone think I'm just crazy?

I think your spot on!! Not only did this kid play hurt all senior season but he stepped up and told his coaching staff to put him at middle line backer because their defense was getting gouged.
