That is the opposite of what he has ben saying over the last few months but kids minds change all the time.

Don't worry, LSU is the team to beat at this time and I wouldn't change our spot with anybody.

And if that is true, he better give up football all together because he is not getting away from the greatness in his family.:yelwink2:

Patterson's game with Catholic New Iberia this week has been moved to Guidry Stadium at Nicholls. Artificial surface; we'll finally get to see KH on a fast track this season.

yeah i know right!!!! he meant he does'nt want to go to florida or lsu. this coes from a very reliable source but i hope he is wrong

Well he almost committed to us over the summer so I am not sure if I believe that...he'll be a tiger in the end.

Despite what one "insider" at Tennessee has said, each time Hilliard makes a public comment, he sounds closer and closer to committing to LSU. He even said a few weeks ago that he thought about ending the process early and committing to LSU.

Hilliard named LSU the leader again tonight.:grin:

"The visit went well," Hilliard said. "I enjoyed myself. Too bad LSU could not come away with a win, but all-in-all it was a fun time. The atmosphere was just amazing though; even for an LSU game. I was there tailgating with a couple of friends and we all had a really good time.

"I've been to a lot of LSU games, but this one is definitely one that I will remember. I mean there were 93,000 people in the stands. It was just an unreal sight when you were down there on the field and just looking up at all the gold. Florida is a good team too and I enjoyed my time thoroughly."

A commit could come pretty soon...:grin:

“While I was there I talked to Jeremy Hill,” Hilliard added. “I heard he had committed and I’m glad he did that. He was telling me to go to LSU with him and we could be like Keiland Williams and Charles Scott. He wanted me to go there with him so we could be that kind of combo too. He had me thinking about it and it sounded like a good idea.”
The idea struck Hilliard to make him announce a decision by the end of his junior season.
“I am debating what to do right now,” Hilliard concluded. “I will know by the end of my season if I am going to commit this year or weigh my options and wait until my senior season.”

Named LA Gatorade Player of the Year

Patterson High School’s Kenny Hilliard has been selected the 2009-10 Gatorade Louisiana Football Player of the Year, according to a news release from Gatorade.

The 6-foot, 217-pound junior tailback rushed for 2,512 yards and 32 touchdowns on 278 carries, averaging 8.5 yards per rush this season.

Hilliard also caught 17 passes for 332 yards and four TDs for the Lumberjacks (9-4), who lost 33-21 to Parkview Baptist in last week’s quarterfinal playoff round.
