    Here are the initial Rankings:

    Top 25 are 5*

    #2 DT Tim Jernigan
    #4 DE Jadeveon Clowney
    #6 OT Christian Westerman
    #9 QB Braxton Miller
    #14 DE Jermauria Rasco
    #16 RB Isaiah Crowell
    #17 OT La'el Collins
    #18 WR Kasen Williams
    #24 CB Leroy Scott
    #25 DT Freak Johnson

    #34 RB Mike Bellamy
    #39 OT Brandon Shell
    #41 DE Jalen Grimble
    #42 LB James Vaughters
    #43 OL Sedrick Flowers
    #45 QB Teddy Bridgewater
    #47 DE Greg Townsend
    #48 WR Trey Metoyer
    #50 CB Enrique Florence
    #54 DE Cedric Reed
    #60 WR Nickolas Brassell
    #63 LB Anthony Wallace
    #66 WR Cheron Peake
    #67 S Sheroid Evans
    #73 LB Trevon Randle
    #75 DT Kris Haley
    #80 OT Brey Cook
    #83 WR Jarvis Landry
    #86 DT Gabe Wright
    #89 OG Greg Robinson
    #101 QB Kiehl Frazier
    #104 S Karlos Williams
    #109 DE Nathan Hughes
    #110 WR Tobias Singleton
    #119 RB Jeremy Hill
    #136 QB CJ Uzomah
    #137 TE Chris Barnett
    #140 CB Jabriel Washington
    #142 RB Kenny Hilliard

ATH Odell Bechham Jr within top 200 but Scout only ranked 150 as 5 and 4 stars up to this point.

I tried to get as many names as possible on the list so we can see where they start and finish in the rankings throughout the year but I am sure I missed a ton that will be on LSU's radar.

I think Collins should be the #1 in LA and Rasco behind Freak and Landry and possible Hilliard. Hilliard is way too low at #142 IMO. Landry is a little low too, should be top 50-60 IMO.

Yea, those rankings are messed up on pretty much every Louisiana prospect. I'm not sure I agree their is 3 other DTs better than Freak. The one from Florida is legit...not sure about the other two. Collins should be the #1 LA prospect on every recruiting service...

Rasco is rated a little too high and I agree, Hilliard is rated way too low. Hes even behind Hill.

This early, I imagine hype and marketing (film quality and peddling) play a factor. Three weeks into the football season, a lot of the top will have sorted itself out as reports come in from not only the camps, but senior game footage, etc.

I still think Hill's film is better than Hilliard's, and maybe that's why Scout has him higher. I know lots of folks here and elsewhere say Hilliard is better than Hill.

Only two five stars and no out of state commits. What a crap class. Miles needs to go.

Would've thought Marquise had a shot go be in the Top 25....Kasen Williams, Sedrick Flowers,J Grimble, Leroy Scott, Teddy B , Brandon Shell and Jabriel Washington would be huge pick ups. Hopefully they can at least get Braxton in for a visit. IMO the overrall talent is better this year than last year

Its definitely early, but the talent looks better for 2011. I really want the Leroy Scott-CB from Houston and Sherod Evans-S from Houston. I think those 2 are a must have in this class.

B, do you think these guys are good possibilities?

Rasco is definately not overrated he is the truth. I thought josn downs was the best I'd seen in years until I saw rasco play. Hilliard is extremely low I thought all those guys would be top 100 on any recruiting service

It is to early for me to comment on how the Jrs. are doing (star ratings). I am just glad that Coach Miles and the rest of the Coaching Staff has jumped off to a quick start.

Again BhelmLSU is doing another fine job in keeping us up to date on how the 2011 recruiting season is going.
