Most of the in-state offers will come during camps. Slightly down and not as top heavy. Many good prospects on the defensive side especially the DL. Most of the skill guys and OL will come from OOS.

but he is not an sec caliber qb.

I have a question..what exactly is an SEC CALIBER qb?.. Is it a kid with super human strength .. does he have a bionic arm..will he be the next tom brady .. does he have an S on his chest..how is he any different from a qb in the pac 10 or the big 10 or the big 12 or the acc or the big east or even the swac.. enlighten me on what that means ..

I've seen this term SEC CALIBER being thrown around .. sec caliber qb .. sec caliber coach .. sec caliber cheerleaders .. sec caliber mascots .. sec caliber suits .. sec caliber footballs .. sec caliber socks .. sec caliber curtains .. sec caliber horses ..sec caliber trailrides .. sec caliber gas .. sec caliber laptops .. i hope you see where im going with this ..

Thats about one of the dumbest statements ive ever heard .. this kid like so many others are overlooked year after year, and end up at places like BOISE ST., & TCU which allows those programs and others alike to become very competitive ..

Let me explain to you what I call an sec style QB, it IS NO different from a pac 10 qb, or big 12 qb, or big 10, what I mean is I dont think he has the tools to be succesfull at a high level, the schemes are very complicated, he has to have a strong arm to throw the out routes, and deep balls, but also has to be big bodied and can take some punishment. I have watched several qb's that are considered now succesfull(eli mann, booty at usc, and others I just dont see that freakish athletecisim that I have seen in these guys. I'm not saying he will not be succesfull in the 1-A ranks, I just dont think it will be at a big time program. I see him more a sa UL, mcneese, troy, type of QB.

Jalen Richard - RB - Peabody HS, Alexandria, LA

This place is not exactly a hotbed for high quality football players, but this kid is killing it. Leading rusher in the state. His last game he ran for 335 yds. and 6 TD's. He attended the big camp (Football University I think?) over the summer and killed it. Every camp he's gone to he's been rated the #1 prospect at the camp. Has a build similar to Michael Ford. Any word on him being offered BHelm?
