Not too surprised... Thought it would go a little longer but all the signs were pointing away from LSU. He committed to Bama this morning.
Good riddance, hopefully for him everything works as planned otherwise watch how quick his new family turns on him.
Thought so. He was vocal around home about wanting to play in a 3-4. This had nothing to do with love (or lack of) for LSU. We did nothing wrong but play a different style of defense than what he wanted to play going forward. Can't blaim the kid for that.
Turn their backs on their home state team, especially considering the season we're having along with the arrogance of the other guys and their coach? All I can say is, DON'T LET THE DOOR KICK YOU IN THE BUTT!!! Hero to zero.
When you look at the number of good LB's bama has signed this year and last year, it just makes me wonder why.
We already have 5 signed this year. And we have Minter, Jones, Barrow, Muncie, Randle, Welter and Johns waiting to snag valuable playing time. None of them are seniors. Minter at MLB and Jones at one of the OLB spots is pretty much a wrap for the next 2 years (unless they regress).
Here is a pretty damning statement that won't please Tiger fans: "I'll take my official visit the weekend after we beat LSU in the national championship."
