Aside from Eddie Lacy who did we "lose" to Bama we really really wanted.
We lost a couple to Auburn which under the surface looks VERY VERY greasy.

But I dont think we have this big exodus of Louisiana more so to Bama.
As I said sometimes kids want to experience something new. Not go down the street. I know because I did. I left Louisiana for that very reason. To see something new and meet new people. I dont fault a kid for that.

But there is one thing Miles is exceptional at (See Honey Badger, Hilliard, RR, etc etc) is keeping our top notch talent in the state. LSU has essentially taken 99% of the instate talent it wanted. The ones we lost McNight and Whatever his name was that bailed for Tennessee both in hindsight did us a huge favor it appears.

Janzen Jackson. Yeah, if he had kept his nose clean he'd be making millions very soon.

Anyway, Lacy I guess we lost, but it is hard to imagine we'd be in better shape with him. Where would he get his carries at this point. I guess Ware and he would maybe split the carries? Then where does Kenny get those valuable snaps come Auburn and the suspension? I think the rise of Kenny Hilliard has been vital to this offense and I know Alabama saw nothing like him on Nov. 5th..

If I remember correctly, we didn't even offer Lacy because of off the field/grade type issues.

It amazes me that kids that struggle with grades in high school "make it" in college. They must get lots of help from their basket weaving tutors.

Making it into college was the trick.
