--247Sports has him rated the #5 JUCO TE, ahead of the JUCO TE commits to Texas, Baylor (who has the #1 offense in the nation), Iowa (who produced All-Pro TEs Dallas Clark, Marv Cook and current starting NFL TEs like Brandon Myers, Tony Moeaki and Scott Chandler), etc. --Shea Dixon writes that Stokes "could be an instant-impact player next fall." --ESPN lists him with offers to Alabama, Auburn, and Ole Miss, and wrote: "Stokes is extremely versatile having lined up as a flexed-out WR, a fullback (where he was a very productive lead blocker), a true in-line tight end and a movement H-back. He has good height and slightly lean, but plays big and physical." --his junior college's bio page for him (not sure when last updated) lists him at 6-5, 245 --here are some highlights that show him playing at WR, FB, TE, and H-Back (the video starts off with the same highlights as the one in the OP, but that one is 2:55 long, this one is 3:27 long) at the 0:42 mark, he makes a nice catch at the sideline while extending himself out of bounds and keeping his foot in http://www.bing.com/videos/browse?m...&src=v5:share:sharepermalink:&from=dest_en-us --here is a ESPN insider article on him titled: "Bama wants LSU commit Logan Stokes" that says: "The tight end commitment from Booneville (Miss.) Northeast Community College has seen Tiger fans question his talent on message boards. He's also been a little dismayed that early highlight video of him that surfaced on the internet was more of a lowlight. Why? Because the video was shot when Stokes was just learning to play tight end. He had been a defensive end his whole life. He's also now bigger and stronger. When Stokes showed up to junior college he was a 6-foot-5, 225-pound athlete. Now, he's 6-6 and 240 pounds." --and here's another ESPN Insider article on his school titled "Juco Spotlight: Northeast Miss." that says: "Logan Stokes...committed to LSU this summer. Afterwards, Alabama came calling. That didn't get too far. (coach Ricky) Smither shut down the Crimson Tide like no team has been able to do this season." (the article explains how the coach believes that once you commit, you stick to your commitment, and he even told Ed Orgeron of Southern Cal to leave when he tried to visit a player that committed to Alabama)
I thought Dickson actually played pretty well in the one game he played in that I saw. I can't remember which game it was though, maybe Ole Miss? I can't remember.
