Less than an ounce and he is charged with felony distribution?

I was thinking the same thing. They must have caught him trying to sell a quarter or something.

The threshold for felony possession in Florida is 20 grams or more. When you have 10 times that amount under the front seat in multiple bags, that looks like intent to distribute most everywhere.

Less than an ounce? What kinda scale you using... 202.5g is over 7 ounces, add to it that it's in multiple bags... you get felony possession and intent to distribute charges.

The law makes it a felony at 0.7 ounces. That is what is surprising.
