Clearinghouse has everything they requested. Now just time for them to look at the dates submitted for 2 of his classes and he should be cleared. But they move at their own pace as we know.
WUP!!! Wonder who the "'other SEC program" might be? He (Valentine) hinted that another SEC program might have presented a case to the league office that delayed his enrollment, even after the NCAA recently cleared him academically.
Looks like he can enroll and start classes but can't practice until the SEC review is complete. Word going around is that it was Billy Gonzales who coaches at Miss St now. He recruits Valentine's area and has hard feelings about him and Stud on being let go from LSU. Can't for the life or me understand how they don't realize we kept giving them chances over and over and kept them longer than anyone else probably would.
If shown to be a false report the Billy G should have some sort of sanction. I understand recruiting is cut throat, but he is hurting the kid not the coach or program. That is beyond the pale!
Not surprising in the least. Remember he cut his teeth under CUM at multiple stops. The same sleazy tactics I would expect from CUM or one of his proteges. The really sad part is that it doesn't really help State or hurt LSU, it only hurts the kid as he was destined for a redshirt anyway. Anyone that has a problem with the way Miles treats assistant coaches usually says he is too kind and forgiving. If Miles ran him off he must really suck.
What goes around comes around. Coaches who make enemies of other coaches only hurt their future job chances. Les has a lot more influence out there than Billy Gonzales.
