Jimmy Details Smith reports at Nola.com, "Parkway 2014 quarterback Brandon Harris confirmed he will make a trip to Baton Rouge for the camp next week. " LINK He is camping at LSU the same week he is announcing a decision. To me this bodes well for LSU getting a verbal commitment from Harris. Yes, he states "early playing time" is important to him, but there are no guarantees. Hypothetical #1: 2014's Sean White (Elite 11 MVP) visited Auburn last week, and I suspect he will commit to Auburn (as the 247 crystal ball predictions are trending). Hypothetical #2: "the next Cam Newton" could commit to Auburn in 2015 or 2016 and rise to be the #1 QB at the school. Reality check #1: Auburn already has a 2015 verbal commitment from QB Tyler Queen. The crystal ball prediction at 247 for B. Harris is now 79% LSU 21% Auburn. I don't know who or when it happened, but 1 of 30 predictions about Harris was withdrawn in the past 20 hours. Obviously it was a prediction that put Harris with Auburn.

Per Shea Dixon ($ site; not Twitter), B. Harris reported to LSU Camp this morning. A good camp experience (and a verbal commitment to LSU on July 18) would probably help greatly in getting some other players on offense to commit to LSU.
