Per my buddy who's on the coaching staff, that didn't happen. He was emotional but he was telling the players how much he loves them and will miss them. He was telling them to keep fighting. So at least that part, per a coach never happened. With that said, I've said it before but this same buddy of mine thinks he's going to Bama. He insists it's nothing that has been said, just his feeling. He even says despite his personal love for Saban, if he were LF he would stay home.

I personally don't trust ANY recruit that's close to Cyril Crutchfield.

With our running game more than likely being centered around him, LF would be a fool to go to Bama... but then again wtf do I know.

A lot of St Aug guys were mad at the QB because he would not throw the ball to a wide open receiver in the endzone because he doesn't like the guy.

I fail to believe that. Not that what you're saying isn't true, but that their perspective on the situation is correct.

The Finebaum crowd seems to think he is Bama bound. Saban was in N.O. today recruiting Fournette and they mentioned that Burton Burns, Bama RB coach, is a St Aug grad and that Coach Crutchfield has a daughter that goes to Alabama. From the other things I've read in this thread, I'm not real confident he is going to be a Tiger.

That stuff has always been the case but LF is a very strong LSU lean at this point even after the visit last night.

Supposedly because the receiver was nailing the qb's ole lady.

That's good to hear, I remember reading an article several years back where they interviewed the State Trooper assigned to Saban. He said that several times they went into a home where the recruit was a heavy lean to another school but that Saban walked out the front door with a commitment.

LOL...well if that were true...like coach, like player instead of like father like son.
