    Tough for Graham since that decision since it's going to cost him $5 million.

    It will cost him some money, but I'd be surprised if, once they agree to a long-term deal, he doesn't get more than the 7 million he's due from the TE franchise tag.

    That's exactly the argument they made and it looks like the arbitrator bought it. In fact, the arbitrator quoted CSP in the second to last paragraph of his decision saying that a wide receiver is never covered by a linebacker but Graham was almost exclusively covered by linebackers no matter where he lined up.

    Linebacker Victor Butler was among the cuts today. Our big free agent signee from last season never played a down for the Saints. Damn shame....healthy, he could have helped us, but as they say, you can't make the club in the tub.
