I don't think even Auburn feels great about this kid, even if he announces Auburn.

    No real shock here.

Daquille Williams signed with Auburn this morning.

    Do
do you all read about this at all? He had issues in La and not an LSU issue. Also concerned ODBjr n Landry may come back. He is 1 and done at best maybe straight to NFL. Would rather have the HS studs we are going after. He will be wasted at Auburn and is Tiger bait.

I hope he makes the most of those 5 or 6 passes that he catches next year.

I get all the issues but its still the fact of losing another high profile instate kid. Circumstances or not. LSU is recruiting extremely well, however I dont like seeing top prospects choosing other schools.

Rivals shows he signed the letter of intent with Auburn in July. Not sure how you would get out of signing an LOI. I guess there are ways.

Sure it would be fabulous if we got every in state player on our board, but that is never going to happen. Every state has several of their top players leaving their state to play college football. If we get the vast majority of the best players in the state year in and year out we will be doing great, and we've been doing just that.

That intent can be signed by any player who is confirmed to be an early enrollee. Like the ones Paris and Harris signed with us. Auburn would be required to take him no matter what but DW could back out of it at anytime and/or sign multiple intents with different schools. This allows them to have almost unlimited contact with coaching staffs. Juco signing period started today and last for 3 or 4 more weeks.
