teams with the same coach stay pretty consistent, unless a big influx of free agents to that team. However, OKC has Billy and I think he has the respect of the players and that counts for a lot.

More importantly you could tell the other night that he was leaning hard on his capable and more NBA experienced staff. That to me says a lot. Shows me that he is there to win and not beat his chest and say "I'm the coach" this team is going to make some noise.

Didn't take you long to become a Billy boy.

The east is so bad a can't see anybody else but the Cavs in the finals unless the Hawks don't roll over and die in the playoffs like last year. Da Bulls are still hanging on to the lost cause that Derrick Rose will stay healthy enough to take them to the promised land. Ain't gonna happen.

I see the Spurs in the finals but the Warriors repeating wouldn't surprise me. They are awfully good. Houston Rockets as a darkhorse.

Just keep on hatin, there will be no "fighting with the Pels for the 8th spot" haha, this team might lap the Pelicans

Can you blame me? You already have Perkins, Brooks will be there next year then you can feel my pain.

That was simply an ice cube reference.

It's so bad I think Perkins was the leading scorer and rebounder the first half of game 1.

Who the hell made out the schedule? I just saw that the Pelicans play Golden State again tomorrow. Catching the defending champ in 2 of the first 3 games sucks

and Curry went for 58. This kid looks unstoppable. But I think I would do a better job defending him as a coach.

    Gentry doesn't coach defense.
