Got in a little late last night, sat with Lora Hinton in the Stadium Club for the game. The guy looks like he could still play. Will post a few notes later tonight.
QB is still a huge ? In my opinion. Yeah they had some good moments but they also had some really bad ones. Jennings still seems to have issues connecting on receivers in the short passing game. Harris locks into target 1 and either runs around or throws an ugly ball to receiver 1. Both qb's still look like the guys from last year if you ask me.
Purple lost again. They lost last year too and the year before and the year before. What's the dang deal? Must be coaching. Come on Purple. Damn! Seriously though, the Whites were the projected starters obviously and it's interesting to see who the Offensive Line for the Whites were. Hawkins, Alexander, Pocic, Boutte and Clapp. That could change, but interesting.
I didn't see the game, but here's a write up of CLMs post-game comments. He expands a lot more than I would have expected, and the rhetoric to me sounds different than last year. So, here's holding out hope that what Red is saying about both QBs having a honest shot at the starting position, or maybe even spelling each other is true. http://www.nola.com/lsu/index.ssf/2015/04/what_lsu_coach_les_miles_said_5.html#incart_river
Looks like very little on the spring game in the forum, no one even created a seperate thread. Must not be much to get excited about. Go figure.
