Has anyone heard any real positive things recently, about the Macmillan kid, besides just adding depth?
Watching the Texas State championship game that he played against Katy I thought he had a good game. I was pulling for Katy and it seems like I cursed him a few times. But I was just watching the game not analyzing his play.
A lot will be decided in how much progress Brandon Harris makes. Jennings lacks accuracy, but he seems to have all the intangibles and leadership qualities/study habits that Harris lacked last year. Maturation happens at a different pace for everyone. Let's hope it happens quickly for Brandon. Really hope we utilize the tight ends in the passing game more.

I know I don't know. What is theory behind redshirt freshman QB. Nothing personal or even known about Scheyd (listed above). We have two young and not very highly thought of QB's. I guess with young guys already, what is theory behind getting a guy you know is not ready (reason for redshirt I presume) when we have serious doubts about the guys that we do have not being ready. I mean, it seems like we are mucking about in the not ready. Again, nothing personal at all about the kid above, just trying to understand what the big picture might be of a redshirt in our current state.
I'd bet every team has at least one walkon QB, just guessing though. I think the coaches would love to have a scholarship QB who was deserving of a scholarship but it didn't happen last year. We do have a scholarship QB coming in for the fall though if that makes you feel any better. We need several arms for practice to keep all of the receivers busy.
Ok, check out the new Tiger on the Roster, and his name is Tiger, #17 http://www.lsusports.net/SportSelect.dbml?&DB_OEM_ID=5200&SPID=2164&SPSID=27812
