Mauck was definitely considered a dual threat QB. Just ask Chief Chavis about the 2001 SEC CG.

I wouldn't consider Mauck a duel threat QB, he was a pro style QB.

Me either, he just was athletic enough and quick enough to run, same with Flynn, in fact those 2 dudes were very similar.

Who? A dual threat guy won a couple of SEC Championships but no national championship. And RP in 07 and JJ in 2011 however that was the defense and Tyrann in special teams that beat Georgia, not JJ he was terrible in that game.

Actually the Ga D stoned LSU in the first half. HBs two punt returns keyed the offensive explosion. IMO his 2nd return was the best I ever saw even though he didn't score.

You are arguing a point with someone who actually wants to take the side of "that guy" the pos that was so terrible at QB I refuse to even say his name....You'd be better off talking to a fence post, it's smarter than the poster and "that" qb combined.

Well since this topic seems to have risen from the ashes, go find Jake Trotter on twitter. He has a link to a store where Mike Gundy says the pokes would have beaten LSU by 3 TD's had they played.

That man done bumped his head

Lol. They wouldn't have scored 1 TD.

Funny, that was one of the responses to Trotter, well, that they wouldn't have scored 3. I will say they would have gotten 1 I guess

Alabama had a good offense and it took them 8 quarters to score a TD on that D.
