Kid is a braniac and wants to be a doctor. Stud got his ass up in front of the kid in a group saying something to the effect that if you want to be a doctor go to Harvard, if want to go to the NFL come to LSU. Been turned off ever since.

Hard to blame them. Culturally, north Louisiana is Baja Arkansas. They don't relate to Cajuns, Creoles, Mardi Gras, Lent, and they damn sure don't relate much to New Orleans. Most of the state's population is in the south and the politicians ignore north Louisiana a lot.
