Then you don't really love your dad all that much. When my dad's health was declining and he wasn't able to do everything for himself any longer I passed up a great opportunity that would have required that I move. By staying in town I was able to check on him every day, make sure he was eating right and give him rides to the doctor. I don't regret it because he would have done the same for me.
It's not even about that. What is being missed is "like a father" well, if that were true then he would stay committed to that guy and not go play for his rival.
Not true at all. Sometimes business decisions take precedence over emotional ones. At least for us adults it does.
I kind of agree with you both. Business does prevail, but we aren't talking about business here. You could make the argument that LSU is better path to the NFL, more NFL players in the league. Equal facilities, the only thing I can think of is at Alabama you are guaranteed to compete for a championship. At LSU you aren't and that really hurts to say that. But the competitor in me, and being from Louisiana, I would want to play for LSU to try and help them reach the mountain top. Not just go to a pencil me the final 4 school.
