Mathis frames the ball as good as I've seen. Because he's quick. I think his command is gonna be good. Think I'll make this one not sure tomorrow. Might be washed out.
Did Hilliard pitch at all last weekend? I don't see him starting unless it's a midweek game but he could be a valuable part of the bullpen as the season unfolds. I love it that we have all those freshman pitchers but Hilliard has shown he can work his way out of a jam.
Tomorrows game postponed: The LSU-Northwestern State game scheduled for Wednesday night in Natchitoches has been postponed because of rain and field conditions. The game will now be played at 6 p.m. on March 12 at Brown-Stroud Field. Hill, SEC freshman of the week!
