Through 8 weeks, Saints D is 7th in sacks, 3rd in the league in QB hurries per dropback, 4th in pressures per dropback (including sacks, hurries, and knockdowns), and yet they are 26th in percentage of blitzes per dropback. Our front 4 is doing serious work.
Man I was really hoping Arizona could beat the 49s last night. Hopefully Seattle can hook us up and we can give them 1. I am pretty sure we will drop 1 or 2 more games randomly, but hopefully not.
the defense is why i say we're the best team in the league right now... the 49ers are undefeated but they've only beaten 2 teams with winning records (panthers, rams)... the undefeated patriots have only beaten 1 team (bills) with a winning record...
And even stronger now that Hendrickson's back to give some depth. Just hope they can sustain it and there's no reason to think they can't. I think the combined record of their opponents is 5-59 or something ridiculous like that. In other news, Seattle claimed Josh Gordon off of waiver, so the Dolphins continue tanking for Tua. And even though I hate SF, was kinda bummed to see former Tiger Kwon Alexander tore his pec and is out for the year.
