4 star rush end out of Marietta (Arik Gilbert’s teammate) commits.

As a result of this commitment, LSU takes over the #2 recruiting class in the country per 247.

Need D line. Come on down son, don't forget the "I'm closing the process" followed by "respect my decision" Cause that makes it final.

Also need Aranda to play two of these guys at the same time. It's impossible to get a pass rush when your second most athletic lineman is 6'3", 295. It's always Chaisson, Chaisson, Chaisson unless its' third down and the offense has subbed out.

I was thinking about this the other day, I think there was a thread before the 1st game asking how many sacks he would have.

Hell I bet he doesn't get to 10, what does he have now, 3? 5? He should really come back for his Sr. Year.

2 sacks. He’s on pace for 3-4. I’ve never been a fan of Aranda’s use of the pass rushing DE. It’s so hard to beat the tackle when you use the same move every single time trying to get upfield, but that’s all he seems to let Chaisson and Brooks do.

I don't think it's the way Aranda uses the OLB. I think it's just a matter of not having enough overall push from the DL like in years past. Chaisson isn't putting up numbers like Key, but he also doesn't have the help Key had. I'd like to see Brooks used a bit more to help free up Chaisson. While he isn't putting up numbers, Chaisson is consistently getting up field when asked to do so. He also probably has to drop back more than Key to help out since our DB's aren't as good in coverage as years past.
