Just a perspective, not necessarily why it was done.

Geaux's both ways. Guess coach had the confidence in his defense to force them to have to score in the end zone. The extra two would have been insurance should Auburn come back for a touch down. Again, a perspective.

Oh I have absolutely no doubt you must go for 2 at that point.

No way you can think that way (the 2 point reversal).

I couldn't see a coach trying to explain that away if his team had lost 28-27.

I didn't have a problem with them going for two, I think it was the right call.

I would have questioned it more if we hadn't gone for two. No way you line up for the extra point in that situation.

It was obvious to go for two. What is your point?

Going for two was definitely the right call.

Swerved It appears my hypocrisy knows no bounds.

I would have been concerned about our play calling had they not gone for 2 in that situation.

Coaches all have a chart that tells them what to go for in what scoring situation. The chart for any coach would have him go for two there. It was a no-brainer.

The odds of having the extra point attempt blocked and run back for 2 are probably similar.

    File this under "stupid thread".
