Skyler should be on the list if you are looking at overall impact IMO since he is a returning All American punt returner but I can see why they left him off. But I would have to believe he will have way more than 45 or 46 catches next season, like about 80 or so as the Tigers will get the ball in his hands quite a lot.

    a transcript

Verne Lundquist: David Greene is a coach on the field. What a leader!! He does not make mistakes. Ooohhh, ugly pick by Lionel Turner. He threw it right to him.

Todd Blackledge: In his defense Verne, Turner is wearing 58 & the receiver was wearing 85 & they are both black. That one was forgivable & I think his knee injury made him throw that ball into coverage.

Verne: Greene has an imprint of Marcus Spears’ shoulder on his chest but it looks good on him. What a coach on the field! Can you say Heisman?! Richt is an offensive genius!

Todd: LSU on offense now. Look at Pollack down there. His motor has a motor and that motor has another 2 motors. He doesn’t give up. He is motorific! He drinks 10 w 30 for an energy drink!

    Verne: Motor.

Todd: Does his jersey say “Pollack” or “Evenrude”?

    Verne: Motor, motor.

Todd: He hasn’t made a play all day but, man, what a motor! It’s his presence that really counts. It’s presence that wins Nagurski awards, Verne.

Verne: You can say that again Todd. Oh wait, Justin Vincent ran right by him for an 80+ yard score.

Todd: But did you see how Pollack kept running on the play?! That was awesome, he just doesn’t quit.

Verne: Kid’s got a motor, Todd.

lmao funniest post of the week for sure.

In the spirit of your thread...how about some other sayings in sports than fans and commentators use and repeat like parrots over and over after watching a game or listening to a coach?

    8 men in the box
    he moves sideline to sideline
lol of course he's got a motor that doesn't quit was covered
    'in the zone'
    he demonstrates great athleticism
    'cover 2'
'2 deep zone' and 'stretching the defense'
