Was thinking the same thing this morning. I hope ND beats 'em. I don't care how far the domergomers move up. Just that much further to fall. Realistically, the Charlie Weis lovefest may be over by Saturday afternoon (well, except for the media).
i thought i had heard alot about this game this week, then i started watching cold pizza this morning. im glad the game will be over tomorrow no matter who wins.
Not to mention that Texas started the season ranked where they are and Notre Dame climbed all the way from outside of the top 25. It would be interesting to find out what's the lowest preseason ranking a team has climb from to win the nationl championship.
The reason I like Notre Dame's chances is because USC has shown a tendency to start slow and give up big points in the process. If Notre Dame is anywhere near what most are making them out to be, it will be hard for USC to just come trouncing back like they have been doing against lesser opponents. I could see USC digging themselves in a hole in the first half that will be tough for them to climb out of. I'm looking foward to the game.
