    And, just announced by ESPN, the Gamecocks will open their season September 1st against Central Florida (replacing the Nebraska/Houston game when NU backed out).

    It will be Steve and the Thieves versus George O'Leary and the fightin' Resumes.

    Now this is what college football is all about, right?

    First the brawl with Clemson that cost them a bowl bid, now this. And I always thought the biggest embarrassment from that program was seeing their fans glorifying their team's nickname by proudly displaying their 'COCKS' gear. Now I see that I was wrong.

    I hear that that's the reason why South Carolina changed it's uniforms to all black--so that way, the ski masks will be easily matched with the rest of their uniforms.
