6 sec teams in CWS?

    We have a chance to make 6 of the 8 teams in the CWS, SEC. How dominating would that make us look?

    But it depends on how the regionals are set up....does anyone know if any of the 6 SEC teams must face each other?

    there are only 8 teams in the CWS... and 6 SEC teams are playing supers to get there.

    well if Tennessee does manage to win their regional, they will have to play south carolina in the super, so we could only get 6 of the 8 spots in the CWS.

    my bad. missed the CWS part. crappy, but inevitable, to have 2 sec teams paired in the super.

    Thanks swoop, that answers my question.

    I think it is legitimate to think that all 6 SEC teams could go to the CWS. I sure hope it happens. Let the left coast know who is best.

    The NCAA did their best to make sure either Stanford or Notre Dame made the CWS by not putting an SEC team in their regionals but it didn't work.
