Made a quick trip....well it was supposed to be quick.....this morning to get a mess of white trout to fry fresh for lsu game. White trout part worked out right threw 60 really big fat whites and a couple specs on ice in short order then started to head in......and had a little motor trouble. Had to limp in at idle so took much longer than planned got home just in time to get all the stuff washed and put up but def not in time to get fish cleaned and cooked. Oh well they'll have to stay on ice till tomorrow I'm spending the rest of the day on the couch or on the porch swing watching the games.
Really slow this morning. Bumped around a bunch of fall spots see if anything showing up yet and didn't find much. Just a couple trout here and there. Won't be long they should be in their fall hangouts
