92,000 people were gathered at BDS saturday to celebrate the future. I'm sure you don't want to hear any more about Bama's great tradition.:)

    man I love this board.

    Terry,
Did Dubose really have a winning record vs. Spurrier? It looks like yall only played Florida in '98 and '99. Losing in 98 and winning in 99. Thats only two meetings, splitting them.

That is hard to compare to Tuberville and Saban who have met 5 times with Tuberville holding a 3-2 record.

Listen, I'm not saying head to head coaching records is the best way to compare things. But its not like Saban hasn't had problems winning in the West already.

I am not sure which is more impressive. Bama with 90,000+ for a free spring game or 75,000+ for a $5 game at Ohio State.

I would love to see LSU change some things and get this many. I think a night game would do wonders for our attendence numbers. Nothing like a night game in Death Valley.

Ya no dats rite! Gonna be a Looonnngggg summer. I've been a Bama fan for half a century and i Can't ever remember being this excited. During the good ole days i would write the year off after the first loss knowing that any NC. hopes were gone for that year. Now a win ,any win will be a time of celebration.

A night game would all but guarantee a better crowd. Tiger fans cannot pass up a night game in Death Valley.

Dude, we played Florida twice in 1999.

For the record, 'Bama stomped them both times. 2-0.

Stars answered your question...and, to be honest, that team was led more by Alexander and Samuels than DuBose.

The 71,000+ at Penn State was pretty darn impressive as well.

Shaun was not only a great player, he was a gentleman on and off the field.

    He is missed, sorely.
