"92 Adams helmet"

    I have a helmet that was given to me a couple of years ago-- someone bought it at an auction. It says "92 Adams" on the chinstrap. Does anyone know who this would have belonged to?

    LSU had a defensive end named John Adams some years back in the late 70's or early 80's. He was pretty good but I don't remember if he wore #92 or not.
