NEW YORK -- The National Basketball Association announced Friday that 94 players -- including 56 college and high school players and 38 international players -- have filed as early-entry candidates for NBA draft. Underclassmen and international players wishing to renounce their remaining intercollegiate eligibility and enter NBA Draft 2004 were required to submit a letter to the NBA postmarked no later than Monday, May 10. Players who have applied for early entry, but have not hired an agent, have the right to withdraw their names from consideration for the draft by June 17. Here is the list of college, high school and international players who have applied for early entry into NBA draft, which will be held June 24 at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Brandon Bass College: LSU Class: Freshman | Position: Forward | Ht: 6-8 | Wt: 240 2003-04 Stats: 12.8 ppg | 7.4 rpg Andy Katz's take: NBA scouts aren't drooling over Bass' candidacy. He's got the potential to be a first-round pick but he needs more schooling in the SEC. Bass had his moments this past season but he failed to become a dominant player in the SEC. If he's smart, he'll test the process and return to the Tigers for his sophomore season. For the rest go here: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?page=2004/draft/early/entry/list
