I found the Corvallis paper he was speaking of... here's the link to the article about LSU's hospitality: http://www.gtconnect.com/articles/2004/09/05/sports/osu_beavers/osu1.txt
Your players should feel upbeat about the way they played but losing one like that can be tougher than being soundly beaten. One of the ESPN talking heads (I think it was either Trev Alberts or Kirk Herbstriet) said it takes two weeks to get a loss like that out of your system and predicted an OSU loss to Boise State next Saturday. Your guys should proove him wrong. Riley is a good coach and will have the Beavs ready to play. It was just cramps. He needs to eat a couple of bananas or take so potassium pills a couple of hours before gametime to eliminate the cramping.
Thanks Beaver for the comments. Not only as LSU fans, but Southerners in gerneral, we pride ourselves on hospitality and it's great to hear that it did not get unnoticed. Your Beaver's played one hell of a game and truely, they were the better team that night. Thanks for your comments and the door is always open if your want to come down to this great state of ours. With that said, I give you my permission to use "Geaux Beavs, beat USC" come time in November. Good luck in the rest of the season.
And she sure did like our pregame tradition of taking a shot of Aftershock.....in fact she took another shot.......: PS.......I did warn her that this would be on the internet!
