http://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/lsu-football/analyzing-decision-to-keep-les-miles/ Pretty much what many here have speculated. The decision was made, they couldn't get who they wanted and had no backup plan, they started to look like heartless idiots, and they pressured Miles to change his ways. Whether the last happens or not remains to be seen, but I am not convinced at this point. Regardless, if seems that, for now, we have some understanding of what might have taken place.
You know, if you wait till the third quarter, to make after game, late dinner plans, you are inept. Deciding to keep or fire a coach in the 3d quarter is just beyond me.
I think that was just bullshit talk to try and save face. But all it did was make them ass clowns look worse.
If the previous three weeks didn't tell you all you needed to know then you don't know shit. The decision should have been made long ago and there should have been several options as to who will be your next coach.
who comes up with a plan that it is either this one head coach or we're going to be forced to keep miles?
imagine that the LSU prevent offense allowed a&m one last drive late in the game and we lost 14-13? then you watched aleva do that short press conference starting miles was staying on as had coach.
theres a major hole in their story. les relenting his offense was a major decision in keeping him? umm no, the fact you had no one else to hire sorta set that decision in stone. what idiots. also, joe schad is terrible.
