Update to the Hayride article: UPDATE: Per a follow-up conversation with a source close to the athletic program, one change to make – it wasn’t Saturday morning when Alexander tubed the buyout of Miles; it was Wednesday. But for the same reason. We’re also told that Alleva actually told Miles his job was no longer in jeopardy after Alexander’s scuppering of the buyout, but the coach didn’t believe him. Which explains the rather strange and chaotic circumstance whereby Miles implied to his Friday Gridiron Club luncheon guests that he was on his way out and the athletic department had to hastily deny reports which surfaced to that effect out of that meeting. Honestly, I'm inclined to believe this. The timeline now makes perfect sense for everything that happened starting early last week. This would basically make Alexander the anti-Emmert.
All of the timeout music makes my ears bleed. Occasionally we get some 'Living on a Prayer' - recorded before most LSU students were even born. I hate getting old.
I think Miles is legitimately mentally challenged. Not sure if he were born that way, or maybe it was too many hits to the head in football. But this guy is truely slow.
