Tuwho, It seems like it's just me versus a bunch of Repugnantcans on the Alley now. It's very funny, actually.. the same people who were defending Katherine Harris two months ago when she didn't follow Florida election requirements are pitching a hissy over the Torricelli issue.
Re: Tuwho, I have noticed that peoples opinions on all of the recent hot issues basically depend on which party they support. Just taking this NJ issue as an example, the Dems think its OK and the Reps are crying foul. However if it was a Rep. that was benefitting from this decision I doubt the Dems would be ignoring the law so that another Rep. could run. Would they still be saying "the voters deserve a choice"? All of this political BS sickens me. This issue is divided along party lines. But if everyones opinion were based on the core issue, and the words "republican" or "democrat" were removed, then you would have varied opinions on both sides - not so party divided. Make sense? What if it were the Libertarian Party or the Socialist Party or some other "third" party that wanted to substitute their candidate with some ringer at the last minute? They would be laughed at. The NJSC would have never heard the case.
