:geaux: :crystal: :helmet: True. But when I was watching Corso say all that crap, it really gave me the Red @ss!!! The ESPN talking heads just really can't bring themselves to respect LSU.:geauxtige :champs: :LSU231:
Did anyone else hear them mention "USC giving voters something to think about, regardless of what happens on monday" The AP were the ones who put tOSU and LSU in the title game, now they wanna change their minds to the fashionable pick. It's not the BCS Beauty Pageant, and they definitely looked good against an overmatched, but definitely unprepared ILL team. It's about a championship, which should reflect the entire season's body of work, IMO. I know 2003 was controversial, does anyone think they would actually consider giving USC the AP?, regardless of the outcome...Seems like they wouldn't, but I didn't get to watch all of the game, and was wondering if anyone else noticed more of this talk.
Not if they want to maintain any semblance of credibility. In 2003, the AP had USC #1 even BEFORE the bowl games...so it was no surprise that they kept them #1 after they defeated UM in the Rose Bowl. Right now, they're ranked like 7th, while OSU and LSU are #1 and #2. They aren't going to jump them over whoever "wins ugly" in the BCSNCG.:nope:
